Wolfgang Fabig

Wolfgang Fabig (born October 13, 1934 in Obrawalde , Neumark , † March 13, 2008 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Wolfgang Fabig attended high school and passed his Abitur in 1954 . He then studied journalism , German , theater studies and sociology at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Munich . After completing his studies, he became an editor in 1961 for the Berlin daily newspapers “ Telegraf ” and “ Nacht-depesche ”. From 1963 Fabig worked as a culture and press officer at the Association of Freedom Lawyers and in 1969 switched to the All-German Institute .

Fabig joined the FDP in 1974 and was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives in the 1981 Berlin election. In the following election in 1985 he was elected deputy FDP parliamentary group chairman. At the end of the legislative period in 1989, he left parliament.
