Wolfgang Kaußen
Wolfgang Kaußen (born October 20, 1953 in Düren ) is a German editor , writer and translator .
Life
Wolfgang Kaußen studied German , history , art history and philosophy at the University of Bonn . In 1980 received his doctorate he there with a thesis on Gottfried Benn for doctor of philosophy. Since then he has worked in the editing departments of the Suhrkamp publishing houses and Deutscher Klassiker Verlag in Frankfurt am Main .
Wolfgang Kaußen has so far published three volumes of his own poems and in addition - often together with his wife, the dramaturge and translator Jutta Kaußen - a number of translations of the works of English-language poets , which he himself calls replicas .
