Jutta Kaußen
Jutta Kaußen (born March 4, 1955 in Wiesbaden ) is a freelance writer, translator and dramaturge in Frankfurt am Main .
Life
Jutta Kaußen translates English and American poetry. For the radio and the independent theater in Frankfurt she puts together thematic staged readings on classical and contemporary authors. In theater productions, often with the director and actress Barbara Englert , she works conceptually and dramatically, writes and arranges texts for the stage and creates text montages. She is interested in the interplay of the art forms literary text, spatial installation, image and music. By assembling them using analogies, contrasts and contradictions, immanent contexts of meaning can be worked out and represented. She worked on MOMENTUM with the photographers Alexander Paul Englert and Barbara Englert . Poets in scenes . For the photo art project with German-writing, contemporary authors and their texts, she developed the concept, took over the organization, published the accompanying book and wrote a "making of". The photographs were exhibited in 2011–2012 in the Goethe-Haus Frankfurt, 2012 in the Literaturhaus Vienna and 2013 in the Literaturhaus Berlin . Another project with photos by Alexander Paul Englert was Frankfurt Stories , a picture-sound-text show with the statistics of the city of Frankfurt and a soundtrack by the Dead Brothers . From 2003 to 2013 she was a member of the board of the Frankfurt maecenia foundation for women in science and art .
