Woo Hyun ( kor. 우현 ; born January 5, 1987 in Seoul ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Woo Hyun learned to play football in the school team at Taesung High School and in the university team at Jeonju University. He signed his first contract in 2008 with third division club Seoul Pabal FC . At the end of 2008, the club was dissolved as it was proven that some players were involved in match-fixing. After the dissolution he went to Bucheon FC 1995 in 2009 , also a club that played in the K3 League . After 20 games, he moved to Thailand in 2010 . Here he signed a contract with Police United , a club from Bangkok that played in the first division, the Thai Premier League . In mid-2012, after playing 133 games for Police, he moved to league rivals Singhtarua FC . After the end of the 2012 season, the club occupied 16th place in the table and thus had to start the path to the second division. In 2013 he was runner-up with the club in the Thai Premier League Division 1 and rose again to the first division. After promotion, he left the club and signed a contract with first division club Air Force Central FC . In 2016 he went back to his native South Korea and joined the second division team Daejeon Citizen from Daejeon . After a year he moved back to Thailand. He was signed by second division team Songkhla United FC for the 2017 season . After the club was relegated to the third division at the end of the season, he left the club and went to Cambodia . Here he signed a one-year contract with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC , a club that played in the first division, the Cambodian League . After the contract expired, he moved back to Thailand in 2019. Here he was under contract from the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2019 at the second division JL Chiangmai United FC in Chiangmai . After the end of his contract he was without a contract or association.
