XVII Abierto Colombiano de Squash Club El Nogal

The XVII Abierto Colombiano de Squash Club El Nogal 2014 took place from August 6th to 9th, 2014 in Bogotá , Colombia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the International 50 category .

Defending champion was Peter Barker , who did not run again due to the Commonwealth Games . Miguel Ángel Rodríguez won the tournament after beating Omar Mosaad in the final with 9:11, 11: 7, 11: 7 and 11: 1.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Juan Alejandro Cardona a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 50,000.
