Yüksel Sariyar (born August 1, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player who works as a player- coach for FC Blau Weiß Wien .
Club career
The Viennese with Turkish roots started his professional career at LASK Linz with which he was relegated from the first Austrian Bundesliga . After years of apprenticeship in the second division at LASK, he moved to Kocaelispor in Turkey for a year . In 2004 he returned to Austria and played for FC Superfund in Pasching until 2007 . At FC Superfund Sariyar made the leap into the Austrian national team with his debut on February 9, 2005 against Latvia . In the 2007/08 season Sariyar played for the Austrian Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien . In summer 2008 he moved to FC Magna Wiener Neustadt, where he botched his premiere with a red card for assault.
After a promotion and only ten games in the dress of the Magnaklub, Sariyar moved to Slovakia to DAC Dunajská Streda in January 2010 .
On June 18, 2015 ASV Neufeld announced the commitment of Sariyar as player-coach.
