The Yarrowitch River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales .
geography
The river has its source in the northern table country of New South Wales on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range , about eleven kilometers west of the small town of Yarrowitch on the Oxley Highway , east of Mummel Gulf National Park . It flows north under the highway through unpopulated area and plunges down Yarrowitch Falls into Oxley Wild Rivers National Park . The Yarrowitch River flows into the Apsley River around 30 kilometers northeast of Tia .
The entire course of the river is in the Local Government of Ares Walcha and Vernon County .
