Yiğit Ismail Gökoğlan (born June 5, 1989 in Konak ( Izmir ), Turkey ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Gökoğlan began his professional career at the age of 18 in 2007 with the first division club Vestel Manisaspor . Before that he played in the youth of Goztepe Izmir . His debut was on September 2, 2007 against Galatasaray Istanbul . He was substituted on in the 70th minute of the game, but already substituted after 15 minutes after his team-mate Selçuk İnan saw the red card. In the same season, Gokoglan was awarded to Altınordu Izmir . There he was used continuously. At the end of the season he returned to Manisaspor. During his absence Manisaspor rose to the 2nd division . He succeeded with the team the return to the first division. From then on, Gökoğlan was one of the team's regulars.
On January 12, 2012, Yiğit Gökoğlan signed a 4.5 year contract with Galatasaray Istanbul . Galatasaray paid 2.5 million euros for him. For the 2012/13 season he should be loaned to the league rivals Antalyaspor . However, due to disagreement between the two clubs, this change failed, instead Orduspor signed the midfielder for a season on loan.
After he had spent the first half of the 2013/14 season with the reserve team from Galatasaray, he was awarded for the second half of the season to the first division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . At Erciyesspor he met Hikmet Karaman , under whom he had achieved his breakthrough at Manisaspor. During the first half of the 2014/15 season Gökoğlan played again only in the reserve team. On January 13, 2015, his contract with Galatasaray was terminated. Two days after leaving Istanbul, he signed a 1.5-year contract with first division club Akhisar Belediyespor .
After Gökoğlan could not prevail at Akhisar Belediyespor either, he was given up to the second division side Balıkesirspor for the 2015/16 season . After a season he moved within the TFF 1st Lig to arch rivals Bandırmaspor .
