Yumiko Kobayashi

Yumiko Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 由美子 , Kobayashi Yumiko ; born June 18, 1979 in Yōkaichiba (today: Sōsa ), Chiba Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ).

Life

After graduating from a dubbing school sponsored by Animage and Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyūjo ( 日本 ナ レ ー シ ョ ン 演技 研究所 ), she first worked for the Myūrasu agency ( ミ ュ ー ラende ), which is part of the Bandai group . She made her debut as a dubbing actress in the OVA for Kirara , which was supposed to be released in 1998, but only did so in 2000, so that other titles have since been released with her. With her agency colleague Mikako Takahashi , she formed a singing duo for Excel Saga called Excel Girls . After the agency closed in 2001, she moved to Arts Vision .

She also belonged to the Seiyu Quartet Prits , which included Natsuko Kuwatani , Nana Mizuki and Hisayo Mochizuki . Together they played different roles in Sister Princess .

In spring 2006 she married. In September 2007 she left Arts Vision and became a freelance voice actress.
