Yves Maria Monot

Yves Maria Monot CSSp (born May 29, 1944 in Pont-l'Abbé ) is Bishop of Ouesso .

Life

Yves Maria Monot joined the religious community of Spiritans and made profession on September 8, 1963 . The Archbishop of Paris Gabriel Auguste François Cardinal Marty ordained him a deacon in 1972 and the Bishop of Pointe-Noire , Jean-Baptiste Victor Fauret CSSp, ordained him a priest on July 9, 1972 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 14, 2008 as the second Bishop of Ouésso in the Republic of the Congo . The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Ivan Cardinal Dias , consecrated him bishop on September 7th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Louis Portella , Bishop of Kinkala , and Clément Joseph Marie Raymond Guillon CIM , Bishop of Quimper .
