Joseph Koerber
Joseph Koerber CSSp (born September 3, 1943 in Sierentz ) is Apostolic Vicar of Makokou .
Life
Joseph Koerber joined the religious community of Spiritans , made his profession on December 10, 1970 and was ordained a priest on June 24, 1972 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Apostolic Prefect of Makokou on March 19, 2003 . With the elevation of the prefecture to the rank of Apostolic Vicariate by Pope Francis on July 11, 2014, he was appointed the first Vicar Apostolic of Makokou. The Pope also appointed him titular bishop of Siccenna .
He was ordained episcopal by the Archbishop of Libreville , Basile Mvé Engone SDB . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Mouila , Mathieu Madega Lebouankehan , and the Bishop of Oyem , Jean-Vincent Ondo Eyene .
