history

A manor in Lohhof near Mühlhof may have been demolished soon after it was built. He is said to have stood on a meadow on the eastern Rednitzufer in front of today's Lohhofer Bridge. The Lohhof initially belonged to the knights of Laufamholz. In 1424 it was sold to the Nuremberg patrician Marquard Mendel. In 1587 the Tetzel family sold it to the Heilig-Geist-Spital . Prussia occupied the Lohhof in 1796. In 1806 it became Bavarian. In 1808 the farm was combined with the neighboring Koppenhof and the Gerasmühle to form a tax district and in 1818 to form the Reichelsdorf community. With this, the Lohhof was incorporated into Nuremberg in 1922. In 1824 the Lohhof had three properties with 24 residents.
