The hanging valley Zadnie Koło , formed by glaciers in the Ice Age, is a basin west of the Dolina Zielona Gąsienicowa valley , which in turn is a side valley of the Dolina Suchej Wody Gąsienicowej valley , in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It lies below the peaks of the Seealmspitze ( Świnica ), the Rear Polish Chapel ( Zadni Kościelec | ) and the Polish Chapel ( Kościelec ) as well as the Kerbsattel ( Karb ) mountain pass .
geography
The basin has a diameter of several hundred meters and is surrounded by mountains over 2300 meters high, in particular the Seealmspitze massif ( Świnica ). There is no surface water in the valley. A layer of snow is here regularly until August. When it melts, its water flows into the Polish Rear Lake ( Zadni Staw Gąsienicowy ), which lies below the valley.
etymology
The name is derived from the round shape of the valley. It can be translated as the rear wheel .
Flora and fauna
The valley lies above the tree line. The valley is a retreat for chamois, marmots and golden eagles.

There is a high mountain climate in the valley.
tourism
There are no hiking trails in the valley; hikers cannot enter it. It is a strict nature reserve.
