Zazy is a German thriller directed by Matthias X. Oberg from 2016 . It premiered on October 1, 2016 at the Hamburg Film Festival and opened in German cinemas on March 30, 2017. The main roles are played by Ruby O. Fee , Paul Boche , Petra van de Voort and Philipp Brenninkmeyer . Ruby O. Fee appears as a production assistant for the first time as part of the film staff .
action
At the center of the action is the young Zazy, who is doing her tailoring apprenticeship in a small, idyllic town in Trentino . However, Zazy is unhappy with her life and dreams of a better, more exciting future together with her boyfriend Tomek. At the same time, the wealthy Marianna spends her Easter holidays without her husband Maximilian in Trentino and has since made friends with Zazy's boss Patrizio. Zazy slowly senses that there is more between the two of them and spies, together with Tomek, on an excursion after them.
When Patrizio is missing after this excursion, Tomek and Zazy sense their chance to rise in society and their sadistic power play takes its course. Since Marianna does not want to get in connection with Patrizio's disappearance, she allows herself to be blackmailed and Zazy and Tomek sneak more and more access to Mariana's world. Thanks to Marianna's husband Maximillian, a famous show host, Zazy manages to get into the spotlight and it seems like all of her dreams are coming true.

On November 3, 2017, Simon Rummel was awarded the German Film Music Prize in the “Young Talent” category for his film music .
The film was awarded the school beaver at the Biberach Film Festival .
