Petra van de Voort

Petra van de Voort (* 21st April 1972 in Stockholm as Petra Cecilia Hultgren Alexandra ) is a Swedish actress .

Life

Petra van de Voort grew up with two brothers and a sister in the Swedish capital Stockholm. In 1995 she was elected Miss Sweden under the name Petra Hultgren and took part in the Miss Universe competition , where she was awarded the Miss Photogenic Award. She then began to play in the Swedish soap opera Vänner och fiender before switching to the soap opera Vita Lögner . She finally completed an acting training from 2001 to 2005 at the Theater School in Stockholm.

Although she didn't speak German at first, at the age of 37 she followed film offers to Germany, where she has been working ever since.

Van de Voort is married to a Dutch filmmaker, has two sons and lives in Hamburg .
