The gmina wiejska Zduńska Wola [ ˈzduɲska ˈvɔla ] is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Zduńska Wola in the Łódź Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Zduńska Wola . The rural community, to which the city of Zduńska Wola itself does not belong, has an area of 111.5 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 12,196 people live.
geography
The rural municipality is located 50 kilometers southwest of Łódź and includes the city of Zduńska Wola in the west, north and east. 70% of the municipal area is used for agriculture, 25% is covered with forest.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Sieradz Voivodeship .
