Zendek (German Schendek , older Sandeck ) is a village in the powiat Tarnogórski in the Silesian Voivodeship , Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Ożarowice .

Between 1954 and 1962 the village Zendek formed the Gromada Zendek , which was dissolved on January 1, 1962 and the village became part of the Gromada Mierzęcice . From January 1, 1970 to December 31, 1972 the village belonged to the Gromada Ożarowice and from 1975 to 1998 it belonged to the Katowice Voivodeship .

Zendek is located on the northern edge of the Upper Silesian Plate, approx. 26 km north of Katowice and approx. 19 km east of the district town of Tarnowskie Góry. The southern edge of the village borders Katowice Airport .

One of the municipality's two primary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) is located in the village. There is also a branch of the community library here.
