Zenneck Bridge

The Zenneckbrücke is located east of Munich city center.

The bridge connects the Museum Island with the eastern bank of the Kleiner Isar . Together with the Bosch Bridge over the Great Isar, it serves to develop the Deutsches Museum . Since the inner courtyard of the museum building with the main entrance is freely accessible around the clock, the two bridges also connect the Isarvorstadt with the Au district . The bridge is named after Jonathan Zenneck , chairman of the board of the Deutsches Museum from 1933.

The bridge was built together with the Bosch bridge on the other side of the Museum Island for the construction of the German Museum in the years 1924-35 by August Blössner .
