The John F. Kennedy Bridge is a road bridge in the Munich districts of Schwabing-Freimann and Bogenhausen .

The Isarring , a section of the Mittlerer Ring , runs over the bridge . There are two lanes for each direction and walkways and bike paths on both sides. The bridge was originally supposed to be called Herzog-Heinrich-Brücke, but was named after John F. Kennedy under the impression of the attack on John F. Kennedy . The name Herzog-Heinrich-Brücke was then given to the Isar bridge built further north for the Föhringer Ring .
