Zlatko Horvat (born September 25, 1984 in Zagreb , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player . His body length is 1.79 m, his body weight is around 81 kilograms.
His professional career began with the Croatian series champion RK Zagreb in the 2002/2003 season. There his jersey number is 18. Zlatko Horvat's player quality is the handball player position of a right winger . With RK Zagreb, Zlatko Horvat has participated in EHF Champions League competitions every season . In 2011/12 he was the third best scorer in the competition with 94 goals. Since 2003 Horvat has won the championship and trophy with the RK Zagreb. At the European handball championship in 2008 Zlatko Horvat won the runner-up European championship title with the Croatian men's national handball team . At the EM 2012 he was third. In the summer of 2012 Horvat took part in the Olympic Games in London , where he won the bronze medal. He won bronze again at the 2013 World Cup . He also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
Horvat will run for the North Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje from summer 2020 .
