course

The Zopsenbach rises on the south side of the Wallhorn ridge between the one between the Red Column in the west and the Sajathütte in the east. Another source arm rises on the slopes east of the Sajathütte and flows out at around 2040  m above sea level. A. on the left side into the main strand. Starting from its source, the Zopsenbach flows south. In the upper reaches there are wide meadows on the banks, with the Sajatmähder on the left and the Katinmähder on the right. On the other hand, there are forest areas in the middle reaches, but they do not reach the stream. When entering the Virgental, the Zopsenbach flows past the scattered settlement Frösach ( Bichl fraction ) on the right and then swings to the southwest, where it then again flows through mainly agricultural grassland. To the south of the Unterweger farmstead, the Zopsenbach flows into the Isel on the left.
