Frösach , also Frößach , is a scattered settlement in the community of Prägraten am Großvenediger . Frösach is part of the Bichl fraction and was inhabited by four people in 1991.

geography

Frösach lies to the right of the Zopsenbach at an altitude of around 1470 meters west of Bichl and northeast of Hinterbichl . The scattered settlement consists of the Oberfrößler and Unterfrößler farms, with the farms opposite each other being connected to Bichl by a road.

history

Frösach is only shown late in the local registers of Statistics Austria. In 1951 , eight people lived in two houses in the scattered settlement, which at that time was still part of the Sankt Andrä faction . In 1961, 15 people were expelled from two houses for Frösach, which was now part of Bichl, and in 1971 the place also had 15 residents. By 1991 the number of inhabitants had fallen to four people, with three buildings being recorded for this year, two of which were furnished with apartments.
