history
For a long time, Statistics Austria did not specifically name Gritzach, but included it in Sankt Andrä. Only in the course of the 1951 census was Forstlehen specially designated as a hamlet . At that time, the local part consisted of three houses with 21 residents. In 1961 the statisticians identified four houses with 35 inhabitants for Gritzach, in 1971 33 people lived in the four houses in Gritzach, in 1981 there were finally 31 people, whereby Gritzach was classified as a scattered settlement (scattered houses) from 1971. As a result, Gritzach is no longer shown separately in the local registers of Statistics Austria.
