Feldner is a group in the community of Prägraten am Großvenediger . The village was inhabited by 40 people in 1971 and is part of the Hinterbichl fraction .

geography

The easternmost part of the Hinterbichl fraction on the northern bank of the Isel is called Feldner . The farms Unterfeld (Hinterbichl 1), Innerfeld (Hinterbichl 3) and Oberfeld (Hinterbichl 2) are included in the Rotte Feldner. After Statistics Austria showed a total of six buildings for Feldner in 1971, it can be assumed that in addition to the three farms, other buildings such as the Unterweger, Edelweis and possibly Gries zu Feldner farms to the north are included.

history

As early as 1545, an owner of a Schwaighof was named "Michl am Feld" in the Pustertal description. This Schwaighof was owned by the lordship of Lienz and the Dompropst as well as the pastor in Virgen . Subsequent divisions resulted in the "Am Feld", "Oberfeldner" and "Unter-Innerfeldner" estates, which were owned by the Feldner, Krazer, Leitner, Grießacher, Islitzer, Resinger, Steiner, and Berger families during the 18th and 19th centuries and were Dorians.

For a long time Statistics Austria did not specifically name Rotte Feldner, but included it in Hinterbichl. It was only in the course of the 1971 census that Feldner was specially designated as scattered houses . At that time, Feldner consisted of six houses with 40 residents. Since 1991 at the latest, Feldner has been defined as a Rotte by Statistics Austria, although at the same time no more population figures are shown. In 2001 Feldner was also rated as part of Hinterbichl, alongside Groder and Ströden as well as various mountain huts and alpine pastures.
