Hinterglanz is the name of a single farm in the community of Prägraten am Großvenediger . The farm is part of the Hinterbichl fraction .

geography

Hinterglanz is located southwest of the village of Hinterbichl, a little away from the village and a little off the road between Hinterbichl and Ströden . The farm at Hinterbichl 23a is around 750 meters from the Forstlehen farm group to the west-southwest between Hinterbichl and Ströden, and is around 200 meters southwest of the village of Hinterbichl.

history

The Hinterglanz farm was not specifically named by Statistics Austria for a long time, but included in Hinterbichl. It was only in the course of the 1951 census that Hinterglanz was given an extra residential building and twelve residents. In 1961 the statisticians for Hinterglanz already designated two houses with 14 inhabitants, whereby Hinterglanz was no longer designated as a single farm but as a scattered settlement . For 1971, however, Statistics Austria only recorded one house with six residents, a number that did not change until 1981. In the local registers of Statistics Austria, the individual farm was no longer mentioned separately.
