Buildings
The two Hofstellen Obersteiner and Untersteiner each consist of several buildings, the chapel in Oberstein being particularly important. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity, also known as the Stoana Chapel, is a small chapel building with a rectangular floor plan with a polygonal end. Probably built in the 17th century on the site of a previous chapel, the building has a shingle-roofed gable roof and a bell-shaped roof turret on the entrance side, which is crowned by a ball, weather valve and a cross. The entrance wall is broken through by a rectangular portal with a viewing window and a light opening in the gable, the southern longitudinal wall has two rectangular windows. Inside there is a barrel vault over a wooden profile cornice and a tiled floor. The wooden altar with a polychrome stone setting was probably made in the 17th century and shows the coronation of the Holy Trinity in the altar panel from the beginning of the 19th century. In the extract there is a picture of Mariahilf of the Cranach type, and the pillars are flanked by wooden figures of St. Peter and St. Paul. In the base zone there are also statuettes of St. Andrew and St. John Nepomuk. The chapel also houses numerous sculptures and a painting of a crucifixion group. The six console figures date from the second half of the 18th century.
