Zschackwitz is a district of the town of Döbeln in the district of central Saxony .
The farmer hamlet to the east of the city center was mentioned in a document in 1343 as Zchakuwitz . The place name goes back to the Old Sorbian personal name Čak, which means settlement of the people of a Čak . The village belonged to the Döbeln office until the 16th century and to the Leisnig office from the 17th century . When the Amtshauptmannschaft was formed in 1875, the Amtshauptmannschaft Döbeln was established and in 1932 it was incorporated into Döbeln. At that time it had about 200 residents.
The district Zschackwitz is of the districts Pommlitz in the north, Zschäschütz the east, Sörmitz bounded on the south and chub in the west, in the north-east there is a narrow border with Simselwitz .
The school building at Dresdner Straße 30c in Zschackwitz is one of the Döbelner cultural monuments .
