offer

The shopping center opened on September 28, 1979. From September 2005, the center was enlarged from 10,000 m² to 22,000 m² of retail space during a two-year conversion period. This makes Zugerland the third largest shopping center in Central Switzerland . The client was the Migros Lucerne Cooperative . The annual turnover achieved in 2011 was CHF 218.5 million. In 2010, Zugerland reached 12th place in the GfK hit list of the largest shopping centers (in terms of turnover) in Switzerland. In 2011, the Zugerland was able to improve and reached number 10 in the GfK hit list.

In addition to the largest Migros (MMM) in Central Switzerland , another 50 shops are united under one roof.

The Zugerland is committed to sustainability. The center has the largest collection point for recyclable materials in the canton of Zug. Various recycling goods are collected on an area of around 350 m². On the flat roof, grass and flowers grow on approx. 4,000 m². Greening the flat roof allows the roof water to seep away naturally. Since October 2014, Zugerland has been using solar energy, which is generated by the photovoltaic system on the flat roof. There are four charging stations for electric cars in the north car park and eight charging stations for e-bikes on the ground floor. In spring 2015, a wild bee paradise of around 340 m² was built on the Zugerland area.
