The Seedamm-Center in Pfäffikon SZ is the largest shopping center on Upper Lake Zurich . There are 48 shops on a sales area of 20,103 m². 1,500 parking spaces are available in a three-storey underground car park and on the greened center area. The Seedamm-Center is one of the shopping centers with the highest turnover in Switzerland.
history
The Seedamm-Center was founded by Charles Vögele . On October 3rd 1974 the first part was opened with 23 specialty shops and two restaurants. In 1985 there was an expansion with an additional 7,500 m² and further specialist shops. In 2005, the center was completely renovated within nine months and its appearance was fundamentally changed, both inside and out.
traffic
The center can be reached by car via the Pfäffikon SZ motorway junction ( Zurich - Sargans ) and the eponymous Seedamm in Rapperswil .
The Seedamm-Center can also be reached by public transport. A 195 bus goes to Pfäffikon station every 15 minutes.
