The Pilatusmarkt Kriens is a shopping center in Kriens in Central Switzerland.

The center was opened in March 2006 and it is the fourth largest shopping mall in Central Switzerland with 21,500 m² of net retail space and 1,320 covered parking spaces. In addition to 51 specialist shops, it includes a large supermarket ( Coop Megastore), a hardware store (Coop Bau + Hobby), a department store (Coop City) and three restaurants. The interior architecture was designed by the London office Chapman Taylor in a light mixture of metal and glass.

The Pilatusmarkt is located in the Lucerne South development area directly at the A2 motorway exit Luzern-Horw, i. H. on the southwestern edge of the city of Lucerne , between the towns of Kriens and Horw , near Hergiswil NW . The shopping center has its own bus stop right in front of the entrance, which is served by bus lines 14, 16 and 21 and thus ensures connections to Kriens, Horw and the city of Lucerne. The Pilatusmarkt can also be reached from Horw train station (5 minutes' walk ) using the S4 and S5 S-Bahn .

Trivia
