Church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Lechlingszell

The Catholic branch church to Our Lady of Sorrows in Lech Ling cell , in the municipality of Baar in Swabia Aichach-Friedberg in Bavaria , was 1727/28 under the Abbot Maurus Steingruber the monastery Thierhaupten built.

The pilaster-structured hall building with a stab cap barrel and retracted choir is a protected monument . In the east wall of the choir there is a risalit-like niche. The tower-like, square roof turret with an onion hood rises above it .

The frescoes were created by Georg Wünsch in 1922/23. The high altar with acanthus carvings probably dates from the end of the 17th century.
