Zuzana Roithová (born January 30, 1953 in Prague ) is a Czech politician of the Křesťanská a democická unie - Československá strana lidová (KDU-ČSL).

Roithová attended the Faculty of General Medicine at the Charles University in Prague , passed the medical examination in radiation diagnostics and thus became a doctor of human medicine. In 1978 she began working as a doctor, first at the Beroun hospital and later at the Motol and Královské Vinohrady University Hospitals , both in Prague. She was director of the latter clinic from 1990 to 1998. In 1997 she graduated from the Sheffield Hallam University the title of Master of Business Administration .

Roithová, who was deputy chairwoman of the KDU-ČSL from 2001 to 2003, was appointed Minister of Health in early 1998. However, she resigned this office after a few months after she was elected to the Senate in the Prague 10 constituency, to which she belonged until 2004. She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004 . In 2013 she ran for the office of Czech President and was eliminated with 4.95% in the first ballot.
