Zvezdan Pejović (born October 28, 1966 in Titograd , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Montenegrin football player .

Career

Pejović began playing football in the youth of the OFK Titograd. Through his other home clubs FK Mladost Podgorica and FK Budućnost Podgorica , he moved to HNK Hajduk Split in Croatia in 1988 .

In the 1992/93 season he completed his first professional game in Germany with the then second division club VfL Osnabrück in the 3-1 defeat against FC Homburg , but rose with Osnabrück and joined FC Carl Zeiss Jena . There he scored two goals in 15 games. He then moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf , which he helped promote to the Bundesliga in the first year . In the 1995/96 Bundesliga season he was used eight times. He made his debut on matchday three in a 1-1 draw against Schalke 04 . For the 1996/97 season he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt , where he was used 14 times in the second division within one season.
