Zygmunt Kukla (born January 21, 1948 in Nysa , † May 18, 2016 in Mielec ) was a Polish football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Kukla started his career at Stal Mielec in 1965 . In 1973 and 1976 he won the Polish national championship with Mielec.

His greatest international successes at club level were his participation in the 1973/74 and 1976/77 European Cups and reaching the quarter-finals of the 1975/76 UEFA Cup .

In 1981 he moved to the Greek professional league, A 'Ethniki to the Athens club Apollon Smyrnis , where he ended his professional career in 1983.

National team

From 1976 to 1979 Kukla completed 20 international matches in the goal of the Polish national team . He took part in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina , where he was used in the second final round in the games against Peru (1: 0) and Brazil (1: 3).
