King Festival Mamodo and Bookkeepers

Here are listed only those who achieved a place in the "King Festival", a final event gathering the last 10 remaining contenders whose winner will determine the next Mamodo King. As part of this festival, they also have been informed that the winner will gain the ability to reshape the world as he/she sees fit.

Zatch Bell and Kiyo Takamine

Japanese names: Gash Bell (ガッシュ・ベル, Gasshu Beru) and Kiyomaro Takamine (高嶺清麿, Takamine Kiyomaro)

Spellbook color: Red (Gold in episodes 149-150)

Spell power: Lightning

  • Zaker: Zatch fires a burst of lightning from his mouth.
  • Rashield: Creates a shield that protects Zatch and can deflect attacks back at the enemy, with a touch of electricity to it.
  • Jikerdor: Creates a sphere that magnetizes the opponent to any metal in the vicinity.
  • Bao Zakeruga: Zatch's lightning takes the form of a huge dragon. The dragon changes in both strength and appearance when powered-up by Zaguruzemu.
  • Zakeruga: A strengthened, concentrated blast of Zaker.
  • Rauzaruk: A rainbow-colored aura emanates from Zatch and his physical power increases. While powered up by this spell, Zatch cannot use any other spells.
  • Zaguruzemu: Zatch shoots a small, electrified sphere from his mouth. Anything the sphere touches will be electrified, and any further contact with electricity will cause the object to explode. It can also be used to power up other spells directly, such as Rashield. (Assist)
  • Barudo Forusu: Zatch draws power from his friends in the vicinity and uses this power in addition to his own to conjure up a massive thunderbird. Only used in the first movie against Wiseman.
  • Ganreizu Zakeru: Multiple small cannons appear in a circle and shoot zaker blasts.
  • Teozakeru: A stronger and more spread out blast of Zaker.
  • Baou Kurou Disugurugu: Zatch summons an immense clawed hand similar to that of the Bao Zakeruga dragon, and attacks his enemy with it. Zatch uses his hand to control the clawed hand and does not lose consciousness.
  • Maazu Jikerudon: Similar to Jikerdor, but has the ability to deflect enemy attacks. When it comes into contact with the enemy, it pulls them inside and electrocutes them.

  • Reis: Brago shoots a small sphere of gravity from his hand.
  • Gravirei: A gravitational force that Brago uses to crush the opponent.
  • Giganoreis: A gargantuan ball of gravity fired from his hands.
  • Ion Gravirei: A powered-up version of Gravirei that Brago shoots from his hands and sweep away everything in a radius.
  • Dioga Gravidon:Brago creates a huge multi colored ball with the powers of Reis and Graverei attacks. Dioga Gravidon is so powerful it could sever a mountain.
  • Baber Gravidon: A gravitational force similar to Ion Gravirei that can cut through solid objects.
  • Bidom Gravirei: A stronger version of Ion Gravirei with even greater range.
  • Rior Reis: Two green Reis attacks are fired.
  • Oruga Reis: Creates a spiraling beam of purple energy.
  • Diborudo Jii Gurabidon: An enormous sphere of gravity. The first time it was seen being used, it destroyed most of a mountain.
  • Nyuuborutsu Ma Gurabirei: A double-layered gravitational sphere, trapping one inside and drawing all objects within a radius towards it through the external sphere.

Spell power: Transformation/Illusion

  • Poruk: Kanchome can transform into anything, gaining its appearance but not its abilities.
  • Koporuk: Kanchomé shrinks to a tiny size. He often inexplicably gains a match to burn books with as well.
  • Dikaporuk: An enormous illusion Kanchomé controlled by the real one is summoned.
  • Dima Buruk: Creates numerous strengthened copies of Kanchomé.
  • Fou Supuporuku: A spell that allows Kanchomé to mentally block the heart energy of an opponent, stopping or nullifying their spell.
  • Miriararu Poruku: Allows Kanchomé to access the mind and heart energy of an enemy Mamodo & bookkeeper, allowing him to use a spell against them. Kanchomé can only force the Mamodo and bookkeeper he uses this against to fire their own spells against themselves.
  • Shin Poruku: Transforming into a special armor, Kanchomé gains mental access of his target, turning their own mind against them. He can create an illusionary world of his desire that can not be broken by an opponent's mind and use his imagination to create any power he needs, blending both illusion and reality until neither are indistinguishable. However, the more control Kanchomé creates, the more powerful and demonic in appearance he becomes.

Tia and Megumi Oumi

Japanese names: Tio (ティオ, Tio) and Megumi Oumi (大海恵, Ōumi Megumi)

Spell power: Shields/Holy

  • Seoshi: Tia creates a dome-shaped shield around herself, though she is still vulnerable to attacks from underground.
  • Saisu: Tia fires a boomerang-like blade of energy. This attack is fairly weak-the most damage it can do is ripped shirt sleeves.
  • Ma Seshield: This spell creates a floating disk-like shield similar to Zatch's Rashield. Although it only protects Tia's front instead of around her, It is a more powerful shield.
  • Giga La Seoshi: Tia creates a Seoshi around her enemy, causing the enemy's attacks to reflect back at them.
  • Saifogeo: A large sword that can heal whoever it hits.
  • Chajiru Saifodon: Conditional spell similar to Saifogeo in appearance which is powered by Tia's anger. Any bitter experiences are played back via a mirror of the goddess-like figure's chest and the power builds with each image. The appearance of the goddess becomes more demonic as well, and once the spell is ready Tia launches it at the opponent.
  • Chajiru Seshirudon: Tia's most powerful defense spell, conditional in Tia's determination to protect her friends. The appearance of the spell depends on the version.
    • Manga: An immense shield with a goddess on top is released.
    • Anime: Three goddesses with interlocked hands are released.

  • Gigano Jobido: Purio fires a burst of acid out of his mouth.
  • Nyureido: Purio spits oil to trip up the enemy.
  • Mosureido: He ejects a poisonous smoke that causes the enemy to itch.
  • Amireido: His spit turns into an unbreakable net.
  • Dioga Joiboido: A larger form of Gigano Jobido.

  • Dioborosu: A black beam is released from Gomu's hands.
  • Bakureido Deioborosu: An energy field surrounds an object, which can make it break apart.
  • Jimugamuru Deioborosu: An immense, spiked energy sphere is created which is brought down upon the the opponent.
  • Dioborosu Za Randamiito: Gomu creates a cube surrounded by hundreds of multi-shaped black holes that disintegrates whatever it touches.
  • Bojirudo Dioborosu: A large, conical shield is released, absorbing the attack into another dimension.
  • Gigano Dioborosu: A more powerful Dioborosu.

Clear Note and Vino

Japanese Name: Clear Note (クリア・ノート, Kuria Nōto) and Vino (ヴィノー, Vinō)

Spellbook Power: Annihilation

  • Supurifo: Creates an area around him that is immune to attack.
  • Radisu: A sphere is created around an object, crushing it.
  • Ba Supurifo: Creates an aura around Clear that destroys everything surrounding him.
  • Amu Dyu Supurifo: An opponent's spell is condensed into a small sphere, which is crushed by a giant pair of hands.
  • Raajia Radisu: An immense beam is released that destroys everything it hits instantly.
  • Kuea Supurifo: A giant block that nullifies any attacks that hits.
  • Ranzu Radisu: Creates a large spear in mid-air which Clear hurls at an opponent.
  • Giiru Ranzu Radisu: Like "Ranzu Radisu", but a larger anchor-like spear is created, that can be thrown or swung like a sword.
  • Shin Kuria Seunousu: Clear's strongest spell. A massive winged god with giant hands is summoned. Clear uses the hands of the god to destroy the opposing spell. The remainder of the god crushes anything it physically touches.
  • Ria Uruku: Aura created that increases Clear's speed.

Note: This is the Mamodo taking part in the current Mamodo Fight that wants to destroy all of the mamodo world. In a recent chapter, Clear survived an impalement attempt by Ashuron before stating that he will return in ten months to finish eliminating the remaining Mamodo.

Ashuron and Riin Viz

Japanese names: Ashuron (アシュロン, Ashuron) and Riin Viz (リイン・ヴィズ, Riin Vizu)

  • Teoburoa: Fires a gigantic beam from his mouth.
  • Digar Kurou: Ashuron's hand turns into a giant dragon claw.
  • Shin Feiruku: A spell used to increase Ashuron's flight speed as well as used as a high-speed ramming attack.
  • Dioga Buroa: More massive beam than Teoburoa
  • Teiru Disuguru: Ashuron throws out his tail like a spear and whips it around.
  • Ganzu Buroa: Shoots a series of fireballs.
  • Dioga Amugiruku: Surrounds his arm with a large blade and attacks with it.
  • Dishirudo Doragoruku: Creates a pair of shields on his arms.

Earth and Elly

  • Sorudo: Earth's sword is strengthened and he slashes the enemy.
  • Sorusen: Earth is able to fire the blade of his sword at the enemy via this spell.
  • Go Sorudo: The second spell strengthens Earth's sword. He slashes multiple times with his glowing sword until it blurs.
  • Jan Ji Sorudo: Summons an enormous sword which he uses accordingly.
  • Borusen: Earth's body/movement is transformed into an illusion.
  • Urusoruto: This spell increases Earth's speed.
  • Jerudo Ma Sorudo: A mysterious energy wave surrounds Earth and with a swing of his sword he creates a large shockwave that batters the opponent.
  • Godima Sorudo: A spell with which his sword is concentrated with energy and the pressure created cuts through objects.
  • Barubarosu Sorudon: Summons an enormous two-handed sword, one of Earth's strongest spells.
  • Gibagamu Sorudon: Spell creates an enormous black sword that cleaves with great power.
  • Varusere Ozu Maaru Sorudon: Earth's strongest spell, it creates hundreds of swords to attack the enemy.

  • Jauro Zakeruga: Zeno produces a ring of lightning from his hand that in turn fires many Zakerugas. (Attack)
  • Barugirudo Zakeruga: Zeno fires a big lightning blast that comes down on the enemy from above. (Attack)
  • Sorudo Zakeruga: Zeno creates a blade of electricity. (Attack)
  • Jigadirasu Uruzakeruga: Zeno's strongest spell which summons a massive, winged thunder god. Said entity fires five thunderbolts from the holes/cannons on its body which merge into one tremendous Zakeruga blast. (Attack)
  • Ganreizu Zakeru: A multi-turret gun is summoned, allowing for several small blasts of lightning to be thrown out at the same time. (Attack)
  • Reedo Dirasu Zakeruga: A giant electrified buzzsaw that Zeno controls the movement of. (Attack)
  • Raajia Zaker: Creates a shockwave of electricity. Manga-only attack, gained in chapter 263.

Faudo

Japanese name: Faudo (ファウード, Faūdo)

Faudo makes his first appearance as a massive tower that appears in the human world near the coast of New Zealand. This gigantic mamodo is actually sealed away inside the structure. A tremendous amount of power is needed to break the lock and set him free. Faudo is controlled by the one who possesses his jewel.

Note: Although it is a Mamodo weapon, it can not fight independently in the Mamodo fight. It can be manipulated by those who control the jewel, such as used by both Riou and Zeno. Without the influence of another mind, it will attack and destroy everything in its path.

  • Absolute Bewitchment Barrier: A tremendous amount of power (Dioga level spells) is needed to break the seal and set Faudo free. The seal also prevents spells from being used directly against Faudo until it is broken. (Assist)

Unko Tin Tin

Unko Tin Tin is the guardian of Faudo's esophagus. It makes any passerby answer its riddles or be dropped into Faudo's stomach acid. When Faudo is revived, Unko Tin Tin transforms and gains the ability to use several attacks.

  • Duck Between Crotch 1: Unko Tin Tin turns a winch at his waist, the duck shouts "Ninnikinikiniki" and flaps its wings.
  • Duck Between Crotch 2: When the duck's head is pulled a string of flowers comes out while shouting "Ninnikinikiniki".
  • Phoenix: The duck flies off his body, dies and is reborn.
  • Obasu Uru: He has the ability to produce a number of dangerous weapons which he uses on the enemy.
  • Suicide Bomb: Unko-Tin-Tin possesses an internal bomb that he can detonate and destroy all in its vicinity.

Unko Tin Tin is destroyed by Wonrei in the manga, yet remains in the anime.

Small Intestine Drill

This is the drill that cleans things out of Faudo's intestines. It is accompanied by a group of pressure sensitive spots in the floor. When these spots are touched, whiplike tentacles that secrete acid attack the intruder.

Neither the drill nor the tentacles have been destroyed as of yet.

Heart Warrior

This strange individual seems to control Faudo's heart by beating it with his clubs. Like Unko Tin Tin, he transforms after Faudo is revived.

  • Back Pipes: The pipes attached to the floor allow the heart warrior to recovery fully from any damage.
  • Rod of Fire: Creates a tremendous burst of flames from his body.

He is destroyed by Earth in the manga, and by Ted in the anime.

Internal Creatures

A group of creatures created from Faudo's insides to destroy intruders. They can spit a potent acid-like substance at their enemies. There seems to be an infinite number of them.

Degosumia

Degosumia is a cerberus-like demon sent to dispose of Zatch by Kieth. He is destroyed by Bari. It is not clear what body part he is meant to represent.

Unko Tin Tin Series II

Another version of Unko Tin Tin that appears to control Faudo's brain.
