Norio Wakamoto
Norio Wakamoto ( Japanese 若 本 規 夫 , actually: 若 本 紀 夫 , Wakamoto Norio ; born October 18, 1945 in Shimonoseki ) is a Japanese voice actor ( Seiyū ). In some roles he was also performed as Noriaki Wakamoto ( 若 本 紀 昭 , Wakamoto Noriaki ).
biography
Wakamoto grew up in Sakai and attended Waseda University , where he also graduated . After his time at university, he worked for the Tokyo Police Department before becoming a seiyū. Wakamoto can mainly be heard in the role of villain because of his voice. His well-known roles include Shurara in Sgt. Frog , Vicious in Cowboy Bebop , Cell in Dragonball Z, and the Ruler of Britain in Code Geass . In addition, Wakamoto also took on dubbing roles in various real-life films such as Alien - The Rebirth , Sin City and in The Empire Strikes Back and in The Return of the Jedi .
