The fifth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on September 24, 2007 with a special 3 night premiere week. As with previous seasons, CTV Television Network will air the series in Canada.[1]
The show is hosted by Tom Bergeron, and returning as judges are Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba. Co-host Samantha Harris gave birth on September 23, 2007;[2] Her temporary replacement will be Season 2 champion Drew Lachey.
On August 29th, the celebrity cast was announced on Good Morning America. It was announced by Tom Bergeron, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Apolo Anton Ohno.
