For your work on articles related to fringe political movements and personalities in the UK, I hereby award you the Barnstar of National Merit. -- User:Ground Zero 8 September 2005

Keresaspa (born 19th September 1979 in Belfast) is a Northern Ireland-based contributor to Wikipedia.

Keresaspa is my web name, shamelessly swiped from Iranian mythology, and I discovered Wikipedia from a BBC TV show and am now addicted. I initially made posts without being a member but decided it was time to gain a little bit of wiki-recognition as something other than a number.

I have a BA in History and Politics and an MA in Comparative Ethnic Conflict. I am currently studying for a PhD on the topic of right wing extremism, so most of my posts are on that topic. My entire education has been at Queen's University, Belfast and I am Belfast born and bred. I went to the same school as Liam Neeson, although we missed each other by about 25 years!

I see my wiki claim to fame as being the introduction of a series of articles relating to National Bolshevism. As stated the right is the area in which most of my entries can be found. This is, however, no indication of my own political opinions. I am also proud to have been instrumental in saving the entry on The Zakhov Mission from deletion, as well as one or two others. I'm glad it is still with us. I'm a regular at articles for deletion where I always endeavour to help rescue potentially useful articles, although I also seek to rid Wikipedia of the scourge of individual entires for internet slang.

I am currently also working on a series of articles about Northern Ireland, particularly its political past, an area which I feel is a little under-represented on here. I also keep an eye on the articles about football clubs in Kazakhstan and fill the odd request when I have nothing better to do. I've also recently been working on getting rid of the redlinks over at List of Prime Ministers of Bulgaria, a task completed on 15 February 2006.

My pet hate about Wikipedia is when you work hard on article only for the site to automatically log you out whilst it is saving. It has recently happened whilst I was saving articles on Kennedy Lindsay and George Seawright and is beyond infuriating!

My hobbies include reading and writing, music (Jethro Tull being a particular favourite) and football, where I follow West Bromwich Albion, Caley Thistle, my local team Cliftonville and my adoptive national team Paraguay.

When I write I invariably use British English, although I have no problem with people changing it, particularly when I'm writing about North American topics (which I occasionally do). I have also recently become a big fan of redirects as they keep place tidy and prevent one-line entries to explain alternative names for things. Other than that, I'm fairly easy-going in my editing and I'm really just here for a bit of fun.
