(1010) Marlene is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on November 12, 1923 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth , who worked at the observatory on the Königstuhl near Heidelberg .

The asteroid was named after the German actress Marlene Dietrich .
