(1369) Ostanina is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on August 27, 1935 by the Russian astronomer Pelageja Fyodorovna Schain at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The asteroid is named after the place Ostanina in the former Soviet Union (today probably in Ukraine).
