(19398) Creedence is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 2, 1998 by the Italian astronomers Piero Sicoli and Pierangelo Ghezzi at the Osservatorio Astronomico Sormano ( IAU code 587) in Sormano .

The asteroid was named on August 6, 2009 after the Californian rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (also CCR or Creedence ).
