(2067) Aksnes is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 23 February 1936 by the Finnish astronomer Yrjö Väisälä at Turku was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the Finnish astronomer Kaare Aksnes .
A probable rotation period of 17.75 hours was derived from investigations of light curves , but the result was not entirely clear. Alternatively, the rotation period could be 8.86 hours.
