(22185) Štiavnica is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on December 29, 2000 by the Slovak astronomers Ulrika Babiaková and Peter Kušnirák at the Ondřejov observatory ( IAU code 557) in the Czech Republic .

The asteroid was named on May 9, 2001 after the town of Banská Štiavnica , the birthplace of Ulrika Babiaková.
