(245) Vera is an asteroid of the outer main asteroid belt , which on 6 February 1885 by Norman Robert Pogson the Observatory of Madras ( India was discovered).

Vera moves from 2.4736 ( perihelion ) to 3.7134 ( aphelion ) astronomical units around the sun in 5.4410 years . The orbit is inclined 5.1764 ° to the ecliptic , the orbit eccentricity is 0.2004.
