(31671) Masatoshi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 13 May 1999 by the Japanese astronomer Akimasa Nakamura at Kuma-Kōgen Observatory ( observatory code 360) in the Japanese prefecture of Ehime was discovered.
The asteroid was named on May 1, 2003 after the Japanese singer and actor Masatoshi Nakamura (* 1951).
