(35268) Panoramix is an asteroid of the main inner belt , which was discovered on August 19, 1996 by the Czech astronomer Miloš Tichý at the Kle Observ observatory ( IAU code 046) near Český Krumlov .

(35268) Panoramix is ​​named after the comic figure Miraculix , who is called Panoramix in the French original . The name was given by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) on September 23, 2010. On the same day, a main belt asteroid was named after Idefix , namely (35269) Idefix .
