(4528) Berg is an asteroid of the Main Belt . It was discovered on August 13, 1983 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station (IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County .
The asteroid was named after the Austrian composer Alban Berg (1885–1935), a representative of the Second Viennese School .
