(5066) Garradd is a Mars orbit asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on June 22, 1990 by the British - Australian astronomer Robert McNaught at the Siding Spring Observatory ( IAU code 413) in Australia.

The asteroid was named after the Australian amateur astronomer Gordon J. Garradd (* 1959), who works at the Siding Spring Observatory .
