(715) Transvaalia is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22 April 1911 by the South African astronomer Harry Edwin Wood in Johannesburg was discovered.

The name of the asteroid is derived from the Transvaal province in South Africa .

This asteroid was rediscovered as Object 1920 GZ but was not properly identified. Therefore, for a few years he also bore the name (933) Susi. When the mistake was noticed, the original name was kept. The designation (933) Susi was transferred to the object 1927 CH.
