(Untitled) is the ninth music album by the American folk-rock band The Byrds , the tenth if you include their greatest hits album. It was released on September 16, 1970 on the Columbia Records label . In the United States the album reached No. 40 on the pop charts, in Great Britain No. 11. (Untitled) is a double album , the first half of which consists of live recordings of various concerts, the second half contains studio recordings.

(Untitled) is considered the best of the later Byrds albums, and it was also the last album with a new line-up: After John York was fired from the band in September 1969, Skip Battin now took the place on bass.

On October 23, the only single on the album was released. Chestnut Mare didn't make the charts in the States but surprisingly rose to # 19 in the UK. B-side was Just a Season . The 16-minute live version of the Byrd classic Eight Miles High was also popular with the so-called “Progressive Rock Radio”, a radio format that played pure album tracks in addition to singles.
